Actually, I was sick last night.  Probably got the stomach bug that my Mom had last week.  Called in sick to work and slept all morning.  I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow at 11:30 to discuss HRT options, so if I'm still feeling sick, we'll discuss that at the same time.  Hopefully, though, I'll feel better by then ( Read more... )

My dh is out of town.  He left this morning for New Orleans.  Not a long trip, however, he'll be back tomorrow night late.  He just had to go rub noses with the bank they'll be working with for the next couple of years.  Yeppers, it's a BIG project he'll be part of.  Today was the BBQ and tomorrow is the 5-hour meeting.  I ( Read more... )

We got up early this morning to go to 8:00 a.m. Mass and then we were going to Joplin to the Golden Corral for breakfast but after Mass, the guys decided they didn't want to sit in the car 45 minutes just to eat.  So we stayed in town.  Then came home and I crashed on the couch for about an hour.  Then got up and went to the grocery store for salad ( Read more... )

and I went to the gynecologist for my 3-week checkup.  He said everything was great, that the pathology report was perfect:  no cancer.  My ovary was enlarged, yes, but it wasn't cancerous.  Just one of those things that happens for no reason.  Hmmmm.  Okay.  Anyway, he was ready to give me some hormone replacement therapy but I stopped him and ( Read more... )

Woke up at 7:30 to get to Joplin for my first appointment with the psych nurse.  I hate having to meet new psychiatrists and therapists.  You have to go through your entire life story in 20 minutes just to get your meds.  Oh well.  At least the psychiatrist and therapist are in the same office, so hopefully they'll read the psych nurse's notes and ( Read more... )
